About Jumping Frogs Preschool
Only the Best
Preschool Experience for Your Child
When you wonder what your young children are doing during your busy
workday, what is your perfect
picture? Each child is special, but we think Jumping Frogs
Preschool comes as close to meeting your ideal as any facility in
the area. For example, Jumping Frogs offers:
A small,
owner-run “home away from home” where your child will be part of a
second family, together with the teachers and other children.
A safe,
cheerful facility that resembles a home, with areas for eating,
resting, learning, and playing. Outdoor activities take place in
our fenced-in back-yard.
A
philosophy—which is our passion—for nurturing little children into
little people who are happy, caring, and enthusiastically learning
new skills that prepare them for their next stage.
Teachers with
experience and credentials in childcare, teaching, and
administration, who want to be partners with parents in achieving
these goals.
Safe, Cheerful Environment
From the ranch-home exterior, to the interior’s yellow walls and
abundant windows, you’ll see why our building fosters that loving
family atmosphere. We have no more than 20 children at one time.
Of course, our home probably has more toys than yours—but they are
not here to spoil your kids. Each one has been carefully selected
with your child’s development in mind. You’ll also appreciate the
lock-in security and well-placed viewing areas for parents.
For
the protection of everyone, a surveillance system is utilized both
inside and outside, 24-7.
Learning Made Fun
Jumping Frogs’ learning program is integrated into our daily
schedule. Your child’s day will include a flexible balance of
active/quiet, individual/group, and indoor/outdoor activities. The
well-rounded curriculum has a focus on music, science, and art
because these disciplines are associated with a wide variety of
developmental skills—things like self-expression, cooperative play,
and creativity—which foster social, cognitive, communication and
motor skills. The goals of our program are aligned with the
requirements for the State’s Kindergarten Readiness Screening. But
our goal for each child is to help him/her realize his/her own
unique potential at every stage along the way.
Our technique is to
encourage age-appropriate behaviors and skills, on an individual
basis, by suggestion, incentive, and hand-over-hand guidance. Our
staff members are fully prepared to “get down” and have fun while we
use our teaching skills in free play, organized activities, and
one-on-one tasks with the children.
